And visited the Corvette assembly plant!! I only stalled twice, and granted, it but was only 15 feet or so, but it was nerve wracking because it was into a really densely packed garage. Even with the other cool stuff today, by far one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever done!! I’ve officially been converted!!

Coming from an auto, it’s awesome right? I drove a manual for the first time in a while this weekend. It was great. Now I just need a manual project car.

Oh definitely. Such a huge difference, it is so much more mentally involving than just “right pedal go, left pedal stop” in an auto. It was actually in my 1200$ Miata, need to do a writeup on it soon!

It’s great, until you have to drive in bumper to bumper traffic. Then an auto is so much nicer.

I’ll bet! Fortunately none of that (only hills!) where I am.

You have not experienced manual until you are at a red light that turns green then you stall. You hear great symphony of car horns as you restart, then stall again. Then the light is red.
